Hello!

I am a consultant, educator, and writer.

My work centers around the use of language and I have a particular interest in comparative linguistics. I’ve studied languages all my life and have knowledge of nearly twenty world languages, over half of which are written in a non-Latin script.

I’m also a highly experienced world traveller and have been to more than 200 countries and territories, including Antarctica and the Arctic. In 2017 I made history by becoming the first Asian woman to visit every sovereign country in the world. I also hold the record for being the first Singaporean to have visited all United Nations member states.

I am a keen advocate of education as a means of empowerment and founded a small nonprofit to support education in developing countries.

Fun fact: I’m a big music aficionado who spends a lot of time listening to music, reviewing, and sharing it. I love EDM, pop, rock, world music, and anything good!

I divide my time between England, Singapore, Japan, and wherever else my journeys take me.
